Provisional data from the Road Safety Authority (RSA), shows there were 10 fatal accidents on the N25 between Waterford and Cork between 2022 and the end of September 2025.

Fine Gael councillor Tony O’Shea said the council has “repeatedly flagged” concerns about the junctions to TII.

Gardai recorded 179 fatal collisions across the year, resulting in 190 fatalities on Irish public roads and in public places.
