A Cork man walked away with the largest cheque of the week, after winning €1m on the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday, November 1, with a ticket purchased at Tesco, Market Green Shopping Centre, Midleton.

The lucky run of numbers allowed the punter to return to the shop to collect a startling total of €19,005.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Thursday November 20 at the Costcutter shop at 14/15 Bridge Street in Cork city.
