One lucky person in Co Cork will be kicking off their festive celebrations in style after they won the top prize of €500,000 in Friday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw.

The Rebel County player became the biggest EuroMillions winner in Ireland on the night after purchasing their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at O’Keeffe’s SuperValu in Millstreet.

This is the second time that a customer at the local SuperValu store has won the EuroMillions Plus top prize after another player won the same €500,000 prize in May 2013.

The winning numbers in Friday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw were: 04, 15, 29, 32, and 36.

The Cork winner, who now has a ticket worth an incredible €500,000, is advised to sign the back of the ticket and keep it safe.

They should make contact with the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their top prize amount.

Meanwhile, the 23 December Lotto draw promises to be life-changing for one player as the draw will include a special ‘guaranteed to be won’ €1 million Lotto Plus Raffle prize.

The Lotto Plus Raffle typically sees between 60 and 120 winners of €500 in every draw but on Saturday 23rd December, one of these Raffle winners boost their winnings by an additional €1 million.  Each of the tickets with the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number drawn in Saturday night’s draw will be entered into a once-off random draw where one ticket will be selected to win an additional prize of €1 million.

The National Lottery is reminding players hoping to be in with a chance of scooping the estimated €10 million jackpot on offer and the guaranteed €1 million prize in the Lotto Plus Raffle prize tonight, that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for ticket sales this evening.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to good causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language.

In total more than €6 billion has been raised for good causes since the National Lottery was established 36 years ago.

In 2022 alone, €259 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.  The National Lottery advises that its customers play their games responsibly, and for fun.
