A player in Wexford has won Ireland's first-ever €1 million scratch card prize.

It marks the first time in the history of the National Lottery that a player has won €1 million on a scratch card following the launch of the 'All Cash Millionaire' game.

The National Lottery said the winning retail location will be revealed on Tuesday.

National Lottery spokesperson, Darragh O’Dwyer, said: "This is a huge milestone for the National Lottery as we reveal that the top prize on the All Cash Millionaire scratch card, which is a first of its kind in Ireland, has now been won.

"A player in Co Wexford has scratched their way to €1 million, becoming the first person in Ireland ever to win a €1 million prize on a scratch card.

"To mark this historic moment, we’ll be in Wexford tomorrow, Tuesday 19th May, to officially reveal where the winning ticket was sold.”
