Irish player wins €17 million EuroMillions jackpot

The winning €17 million EuroMillions jackpot ticket was sold in Ireland, the National Lottery has confirmed.
The winning numbers of the draw on Friday, December 12th, were: 7, 25, 30, 37, 41 - as well as two lucky stars numbered 5 and 11.
"In total, over 44,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the Euromillions and Plus games," a spokesperson said. The winning ticket was sold online.
Players have been urged to check their tickets carefully.
The last time a EuroMillions jackpot was won in Ireland was a family syndicate who won a record €250 million in July.
