Uisce Éireann said it recommended that the public should allow three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return.

Parts of Cork city’s northside may suffer overnight water supply disruptions this week, Uisce Éireann has warned.

The water utility company said mains repair works are scheduled to begin at 11.30pm on Thursday night, May 21, running until 3.30am the following morning.

Uisce Éireann warned that the works, which are classed as essential maintenance repair works, are likely to cause some disruption to local water supplies in the surrounding areas.

According to the company, the works may cause water supply disruptions to Glen Avenue, Mangerton Close, Glentrasna Hill, Glentrasna Avenue, Glentrasna Drive, Glentrasna Court, Thomas Kent Park, Avoca Crescent, Comeragh Park, Imaal Court, Coolamber Drive, Coolamber Dr, Comeragh Close, Brandon Court, Brandon Crescent, Mourne Avenue, Glenview Park, The Glen, and surrounding areas in Cork city.

Uisce Éireann said it recommended that the public should allow three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return.
