The Cork on a Fork food festival kicked off this week with many events across the city.

The weather played ball and while the eclipse was hard to spot on Thursday night, the long table event on MacCurtain Street was a huge success.

Another major event was the historic foodie event held at St Fin Barre's Cathedral with Michelin star chefs in charge of the delights.

Glenbrook Farm and the Kingsley Hotel were two more venues which held events to delight food fans of all ages.
