Gardaí have put traffic management measures in place around the scene of the collision. 

Gardaí are currently at the scene of a multi-vehicle road traffic collision in East Cork.

The incident, involving two vehicles, occurred at approximately 8.30am on the Cork to Cobh road on Fota Island.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed to The Echo that no injuries have been reported at this time in relation to the collision.

While the road remains open, traffic management measures have been put in place with motorists advised to take care on approach.
