Investigations are underway following a number of incidents in a north Cork town at the weekend. 

Gardaí said they are investigating a number of public order incidents which occurred in Charleville, on Saturday. 

A garda spokesperson said that no arrests have been made. 

In a statement, gardaí said: "Gardaí are investigating a number of public order incidents which occurred in Charleville, Co. Cork, on Saturday 16th December 2023.

"Investigations are ongoing. 

"No further information is available at this time."
