Cork-based author Nadine Hughes Campbell has been announced as the winner of the Irish Country Magazine Awards in the Kids’ Category for her beloved children’s picture book series, Noah’s Adventures.
Inspired by her son, Nadine created Noah’s Adventures to fill a gap she saw in children’s literature — a lack of diverse representation and stories that help children see themselves reflected in the world around them.
Each beautifully illustrated book follows Noah as he explores new cities and cultures, with a distinctly Irish heart, encouraging young readers to embrace differences and spark curiosity about the wider world.
Since its debut, the Noah’s Adventures series has grown from a passion project into an internationally stocked collection.
Titles include Noah’s Cork Adventure, Noah’s Galway Adventure, and Noah’s Berlin Adventure.
“I’m still pinching myself,” said Nadine of her win. “To see Noah’s Adventures recognised at this level — and to know it’s resonating with families across this beautiful country and abroad — means everything. This series started as a love letter to Ireland and has grown into a celebration of global storytelling and representation.”
