The operational excellence award recognises organisations that demonstrate exceptional efficiency, process improvement and business performance.

The laboratory excellence award recognises outstanding achievements in laboratory operations, quality standards and scientific capability.

Water Technology employs more than 100 people, 50% of whom are science-based professionals including chemists, microbiologists, engineers and environmental scientists.

Eoin Riordan, CEO of Water Technology Ltd, said that the company is delighted to see their work recognised on a national stage and as the company celebrates 50 years in business.

“These awards are a reflection of the hard work, expertise and commitment that our people bring every day.

“Innovation, quality and continuous improvement have been at the heart of everything we do since 1976, and it is an honour to be recognised among the leading companies in Ireland’s life sciences industry.”

The Life Sciences Industry Awards celebrate excellence across the entire spectrum of Irish innovation, from pharmaceuticals and medical devices to biotech and lab solutions.

The awards are judged by an independent panel of leading figures from academia, business and related fields.
