Four women from Cork have been recognised at the Network Ireland Businesswoman of the Year awards.

The awards, which took place in Kerry last week, honoured 104 national finalists across eight prestigious award categories.

Enrika Moore, who was bestwoed with the STEM Professional award at the Network Ireland Cork awards earlier this year, was also named STEM professional national winner.

Sophie Murphy, who was awarded the Employee Rising Star award at the awards, received a ‘Judges Special Recognition’ at the national awards, and Deirdre O Grady from AbilityWise who was awarded ‘Emerging Businesswoman’ at the Network Cork businesswoman of the year awards was highly commended at the event in Kerry.

President Network Ireland Cork congratulated the three women.

“As President of Network Ireland Cork, I am immensely proud of our national winners. The Network Ireland Businesswoman of the Year Awards is a powerful celebration of the strength and impact of our collective ecosystem of 17 branches nationwide. For the past 42 years the Cork branch has paved the way for future leaders and this year’s finalists shone brightly, carrying that legacy forward with drive, determination and success,” she said.

Carly O’Donovan, of Bluebird Care Kerry and West Cork, who earlier this year won Established Businesswoman of the Year at the Network Ireland West Cork Businesswoman of the Year awards, took home the title of Network Ireland Established Businesswoman category winner on Friday evening.
