Three men have been released as part of an investigation into criminal damage and violent disorder incidents in north Cork.

Three guns and ammunition were seized during planned searches on Wednesday by gardaí in Mallow and Charleville.

Three men were arrested and questioned.

They have now been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
