The Girl On The Train, The Everyman, 8pm: Laura Whitmore stars in the acclaimed psychological thriller, as a woman who longs for a life she sees from the window of a train. Tickets €36.

Kilmeen Drama Group Presents The Weir, Briery Gap, Macroom, 8pm: In a remote Irish pub, a group of locals gather for their usual pints and banter, when a newcomer from Dublin arrives.

Hänsel und Gretel, Cork Opera House, 7pm: As part of its 170th anniversary, Cork Opera House presents a magical opera adventure for all ages. Tickets €35.

Tea and Tunes by the Riverside, Bandon Town Hall, 1pm: Sit back, sip on a warm cup of tea, and enjoy live music by the riverside, performed by Bandon Concert Band. Tickets €6.40

The Harp in Ireland: Sound, Symbol and Story, Bandon Methodist Church, 12pm: A special mini symposium celebrating Ireland’s national instrument, the harp. Free admission.

The Frank & Walters, Timoleague, 8pm: Each August, in the ten-day harvest festival, the streets are thronged with locals and tourists. The Frank & Walters will perform in open air. Tickets €22.30.

Phrases Presents Sons of Charlie & Guests, The Pav, 10.30pm: Galway DJ duo known for their hit song The Enemy Between My Ears. Tickets €6.40.

Sunday

Ivy Favier & Cranefly, Maureen’s Bar, 2pm: Cork-based singer-songwriters perform heartfelt and quirky original songs, accompanied by piano and guitar. Tickets € 14.

Derek Burke Band and Bog The Donkey, Inchigeela, 9pm: Derek and the band close out the Inchigeela Festival. Tickets €27.79.
