The much-anticipated All-Ireland senior club camogie final replay between St Finbarr’s and Athenry has been fixed for Thurles on January 3 (5.15pm throw-in).

The Barrs have already lined out at Semple Stadium this season, Thurles being the scene of their come-from-behind Munster final win over De La Salle in mid-November.

Unlike the 0-15 to 1-12 drawn game in Croke Park, winner on the day protocols will be in place in the event of the sides finishing level for a second time after 60 minutes.

The Cork champions have twice gone to extra, extra time on their journey to the All-Ireland, in the Munster and All-Ireland semi-finals. They led by six points at Croke Park in the first meeting with Athenry, who pounced for a goal to revive their challenge and followed it up with three unanswered points to force the rematch.
