Deane is ready to lead new school team in West Cork
Cork senior Gaelic footballer Ruairí Deane, left, has been appointed as the new principal at Scoil Phobail Bhéara secondary school in Castletownbere. Also included are board of management members: Deirdre Steele, Pauline Hurley, Mary Hegarty, Antoinette O’Callaghan, Nina Murphy, Fr John Kerin, Finbarr Harrington and Barry Hanley.
The 34-year-old Bantry native succeeds Pauline Hurley as the new principal of the Castletownbere-based secondary school.
