Widespread overnight water disruption warning for Cork city’s southside next week
Uisce Éireann said it recommends that the public should allow three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return.
A wide area of Cork city’s southside could see overnight water supply disruptions next week, Uisce Éireann has warned.
The water utility company said new connection works are scheduled to begin at 10pm on Thursday night, June 4, running until 6am the following morning, Friday, June 5.
Uisce Éireann warned that the works are likely to cause some disruption to local water supplies across a wide area of the southside.
According to the company, the works may cause water supply disruptions to Aisling Court, Alderbrook, Fernwood Crescent, Ashbrook Heights, Chestnut Drive, Manor Farm, Forge Hill, Airport Hill, Ballycurreen, Frankfield, Curraghwoods, Grange Road, Dunvale, Frankfield Estate, Bellvue, Ardfield, Pinecroft Estate, Parkgate, Seven Oaks, Woodlands, Clifton Grange, Hollyville, Newton Courtgrange Heighs, Bromley, Calderwood, Hillcourt, Ashford Court, Donnybrook Hill, Bracken Court, Montpellier Road, Maryborough Wood, The Vicarage, The Bayly, Maryborough Ridge, Mount Oval, Clarkes Hill, Coach Hill, Foxwood, Upper and Lower Kensington, Maryborough Hill, Norwood Court, Belmont, Avondale, Pembroke, Old Church Road, Monastery Road, Old Court, Monkstown, Passage West, and surrounding areas in Cork city.
