The southbound hard shoulder on the N28 between Maryborough and Carr’s Hill is currently closed and will remain closed until the end of January 2026.
In addition, flagmen have been introduced on Ballinrea Road to manage plant crossings with traffic management along the verge of the R611.
Looking ahead, one lane beneath the Carr’s Hill underbridge will be closed from late January and will remain in place for a number of months to facilitate ongoing works.
