Following a much-loved debut in 2025, ‘Love Is A Stranger: Ballyvolane House’ returns to the rolling East Cork countryside from July 17 to 19.

The Love Is A Stranger festival will return to Ballyvolane House from July 17 to 19, with a stacked line up of Irish and international artists artists and DJs.

The second edition of Another Love Story’s roaming mini festival series set in the rolling East Cork countryside will include a weekend of music, food, conversation, and immaculate vibes at one of most lush country house settings in Ireland.

Artists and collaborators will perform across a limited-capacity Friday opening gathering, a full Saturday programme running from the afternoon into the small hours, with the traditional closing concerts taking place on Sunday.

Artists performing at the festival include Move D, Colleen “Cosmo” Murphy, Fixity, Seamas Hyland, Sorcha Richardson, Theatre, and John Spillane.

Also part of the festival programme are Cork DJs Eddie Kay, Danilo Milk, and Jimmy Plugd, alongside acclaimed food collective Tiger Balm Club, who will host a special South-East Asian inspired disco lunch on the Ballyvolane terrace on the Saturday afternoon.

Long, slow lunch

Mark of Tiger Balm Club said: “For Love Is A Stranger, we’ll be cooking a long, slow lunch inspired by the meals we love most. Expect a few snacks, some small plates, smoke from the grill, and bowls of pork noodles built for comfort.”

Cork DIY radio station Éist will broadcast live from the festival across the Saturday afternoon, with The Badger sauna providing a perfect festival break.

Festival organiser Emmet Condon said: “We are thrilled to put together another carefully chosen collection of artists and collaborators to take to the incredibly beautiful setting of Ballyvolane House for another wonderful mid-summer party amidst the trees, lawns, and barns.

“Love Is A Stranger was one of the highlights of 2025 and we are so looking forward to returning to the rolling countryside of Cork in just a few weeks, with final tickets moving fast in the summer sunshine,” he added.

Love Is A Stranger offers Saturday day tickets and overnight camping tickets, with very limited Friday early access and welcome party tickets also available — complete with a selection of spectacular boutique accommodation options unique to Ballyvolane House.
