Man facing changes for catalogue of crimes in Cork suburb remanded in custody

Charges for a catalogue of crimes in Ballincollig are faced by a 26-year-old man who was remanded in custody until July 14 at Cork District Court.

The charges faced by the young man mainly relate to a small cluster of dates between June 20 and 22, but a few relate to slightly earlier dates.

The charges include burglary at Lennox Chipper, Main Street, where €4,000 was taken and a glass door was smashed.

It is alleged that extensive criminal damage was also caused during other burglaries.

Over €500 was taken in a burglary at Subway.

Other charges include burglarie at Costa Coffee, Sliced, Good For the Soul, Lucha Libre, Bulk Buy, Arif’s Turkish barbers, Aldi, Boots pharmacy, Chemist Warehouse, and at private premises.
