Man (20s) in critical condition after serious assault in Dublin city

A man in his 20s is in critical condition after a serious assault at Hawkins Street in Dublin city centre, early on Sunday morning.
The incident happened at 12:20pm.
The man was brought to Beaumont Hospital, where he's being treated for serious injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who were in the vicinity of Hawkins Street between 12am and 12.30am this morning, and who may have camera footage - including dash-cam footage - to contact Gardaí at Pearse Street.
