Traffic on Elington St in Cork city centre has been reduced to one lane following a collision this morning.

Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending the scene of a road traffic collision that resulted in an overturned lorry.

The incident, reported at approximately 9:20am, occurred at the junction of Elington St and Albert St close to the Elysian building.

No injuries have been reported in relation to this incident.

Speaking to The Echo, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said that the road is currently reduced to one lane, with traffic management measures in place.

“No further information is available at this time,” the spokesperson said.
