When a tour is called '15 Years of Hits', fans go along expecting to know every single song. Olly Murs delivered just that in the Marquee on Sunday night.

From the moment he appeared, Murs delivered a joyous spectacle. Opening with Troublemaker, he seized the packed marquee crowd instantly. Fans were singing along, and dancing to the infectious energy only Murs can command.

And from then on, the hits just kept on coming. He transitioned into Right Place Right Time next, with a nostalgic X-Factor montage playing on the big screen in the background.

“15 years ago I took a chance, an audition that would change my life forever,” he said.

Visuals were a highlight throughout the show. They weren’t just backdrops but extensions of each song.

His signature trilby hat made an appearance for the third song of the evening Please Don’t Let Me Go, and when he threw it into the crowd at the end they went wild.

All the best songs from Murs’ repertoire made an appearance during the night - Thinking of Me, Oh My Goodness and Army of Two among that number – as well as his signature dance moves.

An outfit change from black to gold marked the transition to a 1980s medley, which included songs like Bon Jovi’s Living on a Prayer, and Michael Jackson’s Beat it.

Nearing the end of the show, Murs spoke about his former co-presenter on the Xtra Factor, Caroline Flack, who sadly took her own life a few years ago.

He described her as “a lovely lovely person inside and out” and sang his hit Dear Darling for her in a poignant tribute.

Murs moved back to the bops after that, and the audience were treated to a rendition of his new single called Save Me, an upbeat catchy song which had the Marquee crowd singing and dancing along.

He ended on a high note with Dance With Me Tonight, perhaps the best known of all his hits.

Sunday night felt less like a concert and more like a celebration of his 15 year career.

It was everything fans want from him. All the bases were covered with the nostalgic hits, signature choreography, cheeky chappy personality, heartfelt fan connection, and a night of fun-filled pop joy.
