Legendary Cork band The Sultans of Ping are set to take the stage at Cork City Hall on Saturday October 25, marking their highly anticipated return to the venue for the first time since 1993.

The band promises an unforgettable night of punk-fuelled nostalgia and high-energy chaos.

Emerging from Cork’s underground music scene in the late 1980s, The Sultans of Ping quickly became one of Ireland’s most beloved alternative bands, blending punk energy with irreverent humour.

Their breakthrough single Where’s Me Jumper? became a cult classic, cementing their status as one of the most unique and entertaining acts to come out of Ireland.

The show will take place during the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival on October Bank Holiday Weekend.

The Sultans will take to the stage once again, delivering a blistering set filled with fan favourites and deep cuts from their acclaimed albums, including 'Casual Sex in the Cineplex' and 'Teenage Drug'.

This special hometown gig at Cork City Hall promises to be more than just a concert—it’s a celebration of the band’s enduring legacy, a chance for longtime fans to relive the chaos, and an opportunity for a new generation to experience the Sultans live.

Tickets for The Sultans of Ping at Cork City Hall go on sale this Thursday March 6 at 10am from Eventbrite.ie. Tickets €35 + booking fee.
