Mr Goutte, who is a French native, was last seen leaving his place of work in Carrigtwohill at approximately 11am on January 15, 2020.

Having lived in Ireland for a number of years, Mr Goutte was a resident at O’Brien Terrace in Midleton at the time of his vanishing.

From inquiries to date, and via CCTV imagery, it is understood that Mr Goutte took a bus on this day from Parnell Station in Cork city, travelling to Galway, where he disembarked at approximately 5.35pm.

Described as being a white man, who is 5 foot 8 inches in height, of stocky build, with short brown hair and a sallow complexion, gardaí at Cobh Garda Station continue to appeal for any information on Mr Goutte’s whereabouts.

When last seen, he was wearing a black coat, black pants, a black woollen hat, a pair of brown boots, and was carrying a dark coloured overall bag.

Appealing

Gardaí are particularly appealing to those in Galway city or the surrounding areas to report any recent sightings of Mr Goutte, as the investigation into his disappearance is ongoing and active to this day.

While Mr Goutte’s family do not live in Ireland, gardaí confirmed to The Echo that Garda French liaison has been in contact with them and remains their current point of contact on the case.

Anyone who may have information on Mr Goutte’s movements at the time of his disappearance, or on his current whereabouts, is asked to contact the gardaí in Cobh on 021-490-8530, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111, or any garda station.
