Person taken to hospital following collision in East Cork

A person has been taken to hospital this afternoon following a collision in East Cork. 

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred in Midleton shortly after 1pm. 

A garda spokesperson said an individual "was brought to hospital as a precaution" and that enquiries are ongoing.
