'Make Every Step Count', a fundraiser for the mixed ability West Cork Jesters rugby club will take place on Sunday.
A FUNDRAISER is being held this Sunday in aid of local mixed-ability rugby club, the West Cork Jesters.
Make Every Step Count is taking place at Páirc Na gCearta, otherwise known as Forge Park, in Rosscarbery, and will kick off from 10am on May 5.
Participants will run, walk, hop, or skip to raise much-needed funds for the local rugby squad, whose emphasis is on providing an inclusive and supportive environment for people of all abilities.
There will also be spot prizes.
The West Cork Jesters teams play contact rugby aided by experienced players, who also act as shadow players, allowing everyone to participate together. The fundraiser is open to adults and children of all ages and abilities, with all funds going towards the teams’ clubhouse, outdoor training facilities, boxing gym, and indoor strength-and-fitness areas.
For more information, visit the West Cork Jesters’ Facebook page or contact Mags on 087 926 3693.
