A motorcyclist has died after a collision in Co Wexford.

It happened on a local road near Glenour, Adamstown, at about 9:20pm last night.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

His body has since been taken to University Hospital Waterford, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
