A file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions in the case against a 50-year-old man accused of burglary of a store in Cork city centre.
John O’Donovan of 3 Spriggs Road, Gurranabraher, Cork, was charged by Garda Alan O’Connell that on July 1 he committed a burglary at Sostrene Grene on Patrick Street.
Judge Olann Kelleher remanded the accused in custody until October 18 at Cork District Court.
Diarmuid Kelleher, solicitor, said: “There will be an application for bail on October 18 if there are no directions available from the DPP.”
Sergeant Gearóid Davis said the garda file in the case had been sent to the DPP and that directions were awaited.
