Caution advised following truck fire outside Cork city

Cork City Fire Brigade are currently dealing with a HGV fire near Carrignavar.

The call was received by emergency services around midday.

Three units of Cork City Fire Brigade attended the incident at Faggot Hill, Clogheen - two appliances from Anglesea Street, and one from Ballyvolane.

Two of the appliances remain at the scene.

Motorists are reminded to take care on approach as traffic restrictions are in place.
