They were married in the beautiful Honan Chapel in UCC on September 16, 2023 - Fr Gerard Dunne was the priest.

Brendan, his groomsmen, and both dads, John and Pat, got their suits from Morleys in Grand Parade.

Melissa got her dress in Cinderella’s Closet. Make-up was by Maria Coleman and hair was by Cathy Anne Bridal Hair.

Guests included Melissa’s parents, Pauline and Pat, and sister Aishling - also maid of honour, who was a huge help. She even wrote a beautiful poem which she read during the speeches - there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

Melissa was also lucky enough to have her Nana, Ann Nagle, there which was really special.

Brendan’s parents, John and Niamh, and sister Christine were also among special guests.

Special shout-out also to family dogs Ella and Trixie who made an appearance.

Flowers were by Bloomsday Flowers, and Deborah Murphy did the church music.

The reception was held in the Maryborough Hotel and attention to detail was second to none.

The wedding car was a 1964 Rolls Royce from Cork Wedding Cars.

The band were Flog the Dog and were definitely the most talked about part of the wedding.

DJ was Jack Enright, while Gerard Kearney, the Cork magician, also provided entertainment during dinner. There was a photobooth by The Event Hub.

Gordon Falvey of WedFilms, was the videographer, along with Laura & Benny Photography. The couple were full of praise for all their suppliers.

As to the most memorable part of the day?

“We made so many memories we will never forget, and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives making even more together!”
