Can you believe it’s just over four weeks until The Echo Women’s Mini Marathon?

Time is flying, but if you haven’t signed up yet, don’t worry - there’s still loads of time to do so.

And if you’re tempted to run it from scratch, you can absolutely do it.

Training for 6k in four weeks is realistic - it might feel daunting, but once you start small, you’ll be amazed at how quickly your fitness builds.

And remember, if running isn’t your thing, walking it is just as special.

For me, it has never been about the time on the clock - it’s about the time of your life. The buzz, the laughter, the sea of women cheering each other on - it’s something you’ll never forget.

I’ve been back in Ireland this past week, spending time in Cork, and I’ve met so many women who are buzzing for the day.

Some have done it year after year, others are brand new.

That’s the beauty of The Echo Women’s Mini Marathon - it really is for everyone, of all ages and abilities.

If you’re sitting on the fence, my best advice is just book it.

That commitment alone will give you the motivation to lace up and start.

You are capable of more than you think.

I have a feeling this year is going to be one of the biggest and best yet.

As brand ambassador, it’s such an honour to be part of it.

I’m counting down the days - lace up, show up, and never give up!
