Monday's front pages focus on a range of stories from a rise in Russian oil tankers in Irish waters to prison capacity being in crisis territory.

The Irish Times reports Russian tankers are engaging in suspicious and sometimes bizarre behaviour, raising both environmental and national security concerns.

The Irish Examiner lead with Irish prisons entering “unthinkable territory”and they may have to use recreation halls and even classrooms to house inmates.

The Echo focus on a 24 per cent increase in calls to Childline, with 10 per cent relating to sexual abuse.
