Man to appear in court after suspected pipe bomb found in Dublin

A suspected pipe bomb has been recovered in north Dublin.

The device was discovered after a man in his 40s was apprehended during anti-crime patrols in Finglas in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The man has since been charged in connection with the case.

He will appear before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court on Thursday morning.
