The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland published details on the 11,910 home energy upgrades supported through Government-funded grant schemes.

The new range of installation sizes will cover a significant variety of businesses, from small local shops up to large manufacturing facilities. It will also be available for public buildings, sports clubs and community organisations.

The Old Oak in Cork is self-generating a significant proportion of its energy needs through almost 100 solar panels on its roof.
