The scheme will modify the existing traffic island between South Mall and Parnell Bridge. 

The former National Irish Bank on South Mall is to enjoy a new lease of life as a hotel and artistic venue, after the owners sold it for a reported €3m.

PLANNING has finally been granted on a long-stalled hotel project in the heart of the city. The Beasley Street hotel, which includes entrances on the South Mall and Parnell Square, has been stalled for the last decade.
