The jury also heard on Tuesday that Daniel Blanaru (37), who denies murdering Larisa Serban, told her parents that one day he would kill her

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the crash on the N51 to come forward.

The woman in her 20s, who was a Romanian national, was discovered dead at a house near Athboy shortly after 5am on Friday.

A man aged in his 30s was arrested and is currently detained in Ashbourne Garda station
