Saturday

David Nihill - Taking Tangents, Everyman, 8pm, €33: The comedian has lived and worked in 12 countries and visited over 80. His shows draw on his wide travels.

Applause 2026, noon & 5pm, €28: End of year show from the Montfort College of Performing Arts - a song and dance extravaganza featuring more than 1,500 students from all over our city and county. Also running on Sunday at the same times.

Patient: Soldier, Cork Arts Theatre, 8pm, €18-20: Final chance to see this darkly funny, true story of an Irishman’s fight for life and love.

C’mere Till I Tell Ya A Good One, Glen Theatre, Banteer, 8pm, €20: Sit back, relax, and let Mick regale you with a few of his songs, poems, and stories from his home place of Laois.

Fusion, Everyman, 12.30pm & 5.30pm, €27.50: ACA Performing Arts Academy present an exciting blend of creativity, passion and performance, bringing together all students from the Baby Bop Club right through to adults.

Daft Punk Tribute, Sea Church, Ballycotton, €20: The world’s leading tribute act to the helmeted electronic duo.

Susan O’Neill, Camus Far, Clonakilty, 4pm, €30: An artist who defies convention with a voice that can both soothe and sear.

Madhouse Presents Guns Reloaded & Feckin’ Ragin, The Pavilion, Cork city, 6pm, €20.28: Ireland’s premier Guns ‘N’ Roses tribute act, supported by Feckin’ Ragin’, the ultimate Rage against the Machine tribute band.

George Michael Tribute - The Essential Collection, Cyprus Avenue, 7pm, €22.50: An up-tempo live show celebrating the iconic music of George Michael and Wham!

Niall Connolly - ‘There’s So Much More To See’ Album Release, Coughlan’s, Cork city, 3.30pm, €20: With guest Jamie Nolan.

MusicÓrum Presents: A Celebration Of Female Composers, Honan Chapel, UCC, 7pm, €15: The distinguished Cork-based chamber choir present a one-hour celebration of music by female composers, with flautist Maria Mulcahy, and the choir’s accompanist, Tom Doyle.
