CADA Unmasked is at Cork Arts Theatre all next week, Monday-Saturday.

This Saturday at the Opera House, the AJ School of Dance presents Reach For The Stars, a spectacular journey through the magical world of feelgood Disney movie classics.

Formed in 2017, the AJ School now runs classes in both Macroom and Dunmanway, and this is its second year taking to the Opera House stage to give its talented students that wonderful experience. 4pm start, but note that almost all tickets have gone already, so be quick.

Last few seats too for the mellifluous Finbar Wright on Sunday, when this wonderfully romantic singer will be joined by uilleann piper Ronan Browne. 8pm start.

An Evening With Robbie Fowler on Tuesday offers a chance for Liverpool supporters to hear him talk about his career, especially if you go for the extra Meet & Greet session before the main show kicks off at 7.30pm.

And then, from Thursday, March 26, we are into the Cork Podcast Festival!

Call 021 427 0022 or see www.corkoperahouse.ie.

A great night is promised at the Everyman this Saturday, March 21, when The Piano Man, with John Forde and the 52nd Street Band, presents a spectacular live show that will transport you into the legendary worlds of two of the greatest music icons of all time: Elton John and Billy Joel.

All those great hits, we guarantee you will be singing along to many of them!

On Sunday, Europe’s No.1 award-winning tribute show, The Legends Of American Country, will be another show with many well-loved numbers from stars like Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Don Williams, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Tammy Wynette, Kenny Rogers, and more.

On Thursday to Saturday next week, a wonderfully moving show, Tuesdays With Morrie, by Mitch Albom, is one you won’t want to miss. 8pm for all of those. 021 450 1673 or www.everymancork.com.

Cork Arts Theatre stages A Grand Night For Singing from tonight to Saturday, courtesy of Montfort College of Performing Arts. From the bright lights of Broadway to the magic of the West End, enjoy a wide and varied repertoire of musical theatre favourites from talented vocal students.

Then, all next week, Monday-Saturday, CADA presents Unmasked 26, declaring in the immortal words of the Bard, that “all the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players”.

In this great new production, you will be entertained by wonderful pieces like Inside Out, Potion Communication, New Inventor Club, and magical shows like Toy Story, Elves On Strike, and Snow White And The Mighty Men, some written by our own pupils.

The actors range in age from 3½ – yes, 3½ – to adulthood. Maybe the future Jessie Buckley or Paul Mescal will be discovered here, suggests director Catherine Mahon-Buckley! Monday-Friday, 7pm; matinee Saturday at 2.30pm. Tickets are already selling like hot cakes to proud families! 021 450 5624 or www.corkartstheatre.com.

And two lively nights promised at City Limits - The Cork Comedy Club. Tomorrow, Friday, Leah Renee, billed as ‘the world’s only real ex-Mormon housewife-turned-comedian’, is a podcaster, writer, and, as she herself admits, ‘subpar musician’. On Saturday, it’s award-winning Limerick man Danny Ryan, a stand-up headliner at all the top comedy festivals.

At the Glen Theatre in Banteer this Sunday, you can see The Story, written and performed by Timmy O’Mahony.

Tom Walsh watches over the world from the comfort of his bedroom in his parents’ house, on Cork city’s Northside. But when his best friend goes missing, Tom is forced to venture outside in search of the truth. 8pm start. www.glentheatre.ie or 029 56239 (Ext. 1).
