TV: How to watch the action at Electric Picnic from home

If you’re one of the many people who didn’t get tickets for Electric Picnic before they sold out in minutes, then the best seat in the house will be in your living room.

After the success of their broadcast of the event in 2025, TG4 will be present at this year’s Electric Picnic Music & Arts festival in Stradbally, Co. Laois.

Beo Ón Electric Picnic will be shown on Sunday on the channel at 9.30pm, presented by Síomha Ní Ruairc and John Sharpson, who will be based in a special studio at The Hazelwood/An Chollchoill.

The programme will feature live music performances from artists performing on the Collchoill (Hazelwood) and Puball Gaeilge stages.

Highlights will include HipHap Gaelach, Rua Rí, Clada, Burnchurch, Leatsa, Méabh Mulligan agus Eva Carroll, Bog Bodies, Birch, Ispíní na hÉireann, Saibhín, and many more.

The show will also feature interviews, music, and intimate acoustic sessions with some of the biggest names playing at this year’s festival.

The Irish language has a huge place at the event and Beo Ón Electric Picnic will celebrate this.

As well as acts performing in Irish on the Collchoill (Hazelwood) and Puball Gaeilge stages, there will be podcasts, yoga sessions, a céilí mór, comedy, and the Gaeltacht Camping site.

Síomha and John will speak to the people bringing all this to life, from festival organisers to artists to the festival-goers themselves.

The hour-and-a-half TG4 broadcast promises to be a celebration of all that’s great about Ireland’s biggest music festival.
