Reeling In The Years, Cork Opera House, 8pm: This Ronan Collins Showband Show has been a smash hit for the past 15 years, and returns to Cork this weekend. Tickets €32.

Never Going Back There, The Everyman, 8pm: Hunters Moon Theatre brings a new Irish play by Philip O’Byrne, to The Everyman stage. Never Going Back There depicts the story of a powerful Irish woman who would not allow religion, or the Magdalene laundries, to define her. Tickets €26.

Lovesong, Cork Arts Theatre, 8pm: The story, by Abi Morgan of one couple, told from two different points in their lives, as young lovers in their thirties and as worldly companions looking back on their relationship. Their past and present selves collide in this beautiful tale of togetherness. Tickets €19.

Joanne McNally, Cork Opera House, 8pm: Pinotphile follows the runaway success of Joanne’s smash hit The Prosecco Express – a show that set off on its maiden voyage in initial previews back in 2019 before becoming a critically acclaimed global riot. Ticketmaster.ie crowned the show its ‘Comedy Event of the Year’ following an unprecedented 78- show run at Dublin’s Vicar Street. Tickets €45.90

DMode, Cyrpus Avenue, 7pm: Ireland’s number one Depeche Mode tribute. This homage to the English band spans everything from the electro-pop of New Life right through to I Feel Loved and beyond. Tickets €19.26.

CC Outpost, Clancy’s Skybar, 8pm: The Skybar comes alive this Saturday with house, techno and garage tunes from Keefe, Jazelle, Leezur, Block A and Andrew McCarthy. Tickets €12.

Jenny Greene, Cyprus Avenue, 11pm: Jenny has been at the forefront of the Irish dance music scene for almost 20 years. Her long-running RTÉ 2FM show Electric Disco has been the soundtrack to countless weekends, cementing her as a defining voice of Irish club culture. Tickets €24.
