Whitney Houston By Candlelight, Cork City Hall, 7.30pm, €30: Experience the best of Whitney Houston at this epic live concert starring Kieshia Chun and her spectacular band.

A tribute To Leonard Cohen, Everyman, 7pm, €33: Stewart D’Arrietta and his band produce a rousing celebration of the late, legendary musician’s best loved music, poetry, and stories of his life.

Cork International Poetry Festival, Cork Arts Theatre, from 3pm, €5: A host of events take place as part of the final day of the festival, each costing €5 entry. It starts at 3pm with the winning entries of the Fool for Poetry International Chapbook Competition being unveiled with readings, and ends at 10pm with appearances by Kim Moore and Annemarie Ní Churreáin.
