Cork County Board has confirmed the allocations that clubs in the county will receive for the Allianz Hurling League Division 1A final against Limerick on Sunday week, April 5.

The huge demand for tickets for the game at TUS Gaelic Grounds – which is preceded by the Division 1B decider between Clare and Dublin – has meant that, rather than a general sale as for the 2025 finals, the four counties were given tickets to distribute among their clubs.

In a communication to clubs, Cork secretary/CEO Kevin O’Donovan outlined how, given the limited allocation, clubs will be supplied, based on championship grading.

Each hurling club in the county will receive two stand tickets – premier senior and senior A outfits will get 24 terrace tickets, premier intermediate, intermediate A and premier junior 20 terrace tickets, with 12 terrace for junior A clubs and ten each for junior B and C.

It has not been possible to provide stand tickets to football affiliation – their terrace quantities mirror those of the hurling scale. Clubs who have players on the Cork senior hurling panel will receive four extra terrace tickets per player.

For example, Midleton – a premier senior hurling and junior A football club – will be entitled to two stand tickets and 36 terrace tickets, with eight more on the terrace due to the presence of Tommy O’Connell and Brion Saunderson on the Cork squad.

In addition, each delegate to the county committee will receive two stand tickets, separate from club affiliation, while All-Ireland senior hurling medal holders will be entitled to the same – there are not enough tickets for football medallists to be accommodated.

As well, each division will receive two tickets per code.

Club Tickets will be distributed via links and unique codes (two tickets per code), in line with the process used over the past number of years. These links and codes will be provided in due course.

Should a second allocation materialise, clubs will be contacted by the board.
