Kearys Motor Group presented six new Renault Trafic vans to Cork GAA this week, as official van partners of Cork GAA for the 2026 season.

It marks a significant boost for Gaelic games in the county as the partnership continues, strengthening ties between one of Cork’s most recognisable sporting organisations and a long established local business.

The agreement, announced this week, extends Kearys’ role as the official vehicle partner of Cork GAA for the senior, U20 and minor hurling and football teams.

Cork GAA chairman Pat Horgan was joined by Cork senior hurler Tim O'Mahony, Sinéad O’Keeffe, commercial director of Cork GAA, Derek Connolly, kit man for the Cork senior hurlers and Mick Curtin, kit man for the Cork senior footballers at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Kearys were represented by Kevin Hourihan, Julian Boylan and Jackie Dawson. Kearys Leasing has recently launched a new website www.kearysleasing.ie that offers the widest choice of leasing options on passenger car and commercial vehicles with expert consultation to ensure customers enjoy the best motoring solution for their business.

Speaking at the launch, Pat Horgan said: "I would like to thank Kearys Motor Group for their continued support, we are looking forward to many safe miles as our teams travel to games throughout the 2026 GAA season."

“We wish all six Cork GAA teams the very best of luck this year and safe travels in the Renault Trafic vans. We hope all Cork supporters keep an eye out for these eye-catching decals on the road!” said Kevin Hourihan.

At the heart of the partnership is a shared commitment to the community. Cork GAA, with its vast network of clubs and volunteers, remains one of the largest sporting bodies in the country.

Kearys, founded in Cork and still family owned, has long positioned itself as a supporter of local sport, culture, and charitable initiatives. Both organisations emphasised that the renewed deal is about more than branding: it is intended to strengthen participation, visibility and pride in Cork’s sporting identity.
