The draw for the Round of 16 of Munster Senior Cup has paired Cork City with Midleton FC at Knockgriffin Park and Cobh Ramblers with Leeside United.

The ties are set to be played on the weekend ending January 17th with exact details to be decided in the New Year.

Ringmahon Rangers caught the eye of the masses as the Munster Senior League side have been handed a home bout with Treaty United.

Riverstown FC will be on the road and making the trip from Glanmire to the RSC for a meeting with Waterford FC.

Colin Healy’s Kerry FC will be in action against Cobh Wanderers at Mounthawk Park in Tralee.

FAI Intermediate Cup champions College Corinthians will welcome Blarney United, Leeds AFC will host Lakewood AFC, and Fermoy have been paired with Rockmount.

The quarter final draw was also made by the Munster Football Association, and those games will take place on the weekend ending February 1st 2026.

The team that progresses from Cobh Ramblers meeting with Leeside AFC will travel to the winners of Waterford and Riverstown.

The reward for Treaty United or Ringmahon Rangers is a visit of Cork City or Midleton, with Kerry FC or Cobh Wanderers set to host either Leeds AFC or Lakewood Athletic.

Cobh Ramblers go into his edition of the Munster Senior Cup as defending champions following a 2-0 victory over Rockmount last summer at Turner’s Cross.

That was the club’s third victory in four seasons, and they did it the hard way by knocking out Kerry FC and Cork City on their way to the decider.

The Rebel Army last won the trophy in 2019 by defeating Midleton at Turner’s Cross, and that made it three in a row for a side managed by John Caulfield.

Cork City went on to lose three successive finals between 2020 and 2023, before losing 2-1 to Cobh Ramblers at St Colman’s Park last season.

Rockmount are the last team from the Munster Senior League to win the competition and they did so by defeating the Rebel 2-0 in extra-time five years ago.
