Man smashes windows of Macroom home before fleeing scene

Gardaí are trying to track down a man who they believe smashed the windows of a home in Macroom before leaving the area.
At approximately 11.50pm on Tuesday, gardaí were called to the property at Upper Glenview Terrace, Gurteenroe where the ground floor windows had been smashed in.
"It is understood that the damage was caused by a lone male who subsequently left the scene in a dark-coloured car," a spokesman said.

"Gardaí are seeking witnesses who were in the Gurteenroe area of Macroom between 10pm and 12:30am on the night of March 31 into April 1. They are also appealing to anyone who may have camera footage, including motorists with dash cam footage from the area during that time."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Macroom Garda Station at (026) 20590, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
