Cork County Board have finalised clubs’ allocations for the Rebels’ four Munster SHC fixtures.
With varying ground sizes and demand from opposition to deal with, each fixture will feature a different breakdown – and the opener against Tipperary on Sunday, April 19 is set to be the high-water mark in terms of club representation.
As usual, clubs’ championship status determines the quantity received, while hurling and football affiliations are treated separately.
While football clubs have not received any stand tickets for Sunday’s Allianz Hurling League Division 1A final against Limerick – which is paired with the Division 1B decider between Clare and Dublin – they will benefit from greater supply for the repeat of last year’s All-Ireland final at FBD Semple Stadium.
Both codes will be allowed the same entitlement for that clash in Thurles – 24 stand and 44 terrace for premier senior and senior A, 20 stand and 40 terrace for premier intermediate, intermediate A and premier junior, 16 stand and 36 terrace for junior A and 14 stand and 32 terrace for junior B and junior C.
In addition, clubs with players on the Cork panel will receive ten extra terrace tickets per player. For instance, Castlemartyr – premier intermediate in hurling and junior A football with Ciarán Joyce on the squad – will have 36 stand tickets and 86 terrace.

A total of 15,168 tickets are allocated to clubs for the Tipp clash – that drops to 11,562 for the home tie against Limerick a week later.
For home games, there are 2,224 premium-level seat holders catered for, along with 364 who have claimed seats in the South Stand.
The breakdown for clubs will be six stand tickets and 48 terrace for senior hurling, four and 44 for intermediate and premier junior, two and 38 for junior and two and 32 for junior B and C. No stand tickets will be available for football clubs while the terrace allocations are the same as for hurling units and once again, clubs with players on the panel will each have ten extra terrace tickets per player.
With the capacity of Azzurri Walsh Park in Waterford capped at 12,000, allocations for the game there on Saturday, May 9 will be restricted – just 1,434 tickets are able to be spread among clubs.
Each hurling unit will get two stand tickets each, with six terrace tickets for senior clubs, four for intermediate and premier junior and two each for junior A/B/C. Each football affiliation will receive two terrace tickets, while there are no extra tickets for clubs with players.
Cork’s last round-robin match match is at home to Clare on May 24 and there are 14,582 tickets to divide among clubs.

Senior hurling clubs will have eight stand and 58 terrace tickets, intermediate and premier junior six and 54, junior A four and 48 and junior B/C two and 42. The terrace allocations will be the same for football clubs, along with two stand tickets each, while clubs with players will have ten terrace tickets per player.
Clubs will receive the links and codes to claim tickets by early next week. Each club delegate is also entitled to two stand tickets per game, outside of the club’s allocation, and they are issued directly.
Others who have the ability to purchase tickets from the board are All-Ireland senior medal holders, sponsors, county board sub-comittees and divisional committees, county panel referees, senior football players and management and under-age management, One Cork Worldwide and Cork members of the Oireachtas as well as city and county mayors and councillors.
Should a second allocation materialise for any fixtures, the county board will notify clubs.
