FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles has been confirmed as the venue for the AIB Munster Club SFC final between St Finbarr’s and Dingle of Kerry.

The Munster Council confirmed on Tuesday night that the home of Tipperary GAA will host the showpiece occasion on Sunday week with throw-in at 1.30pm.

St Finbarr's have fond memories of Thurles after winning the provincial title there back in January 2022.

The weekend after next will be a busy one with Aghabullogue and Buttevant also playing their respective Munster finals against Kerry opposition.

Aghabullogue take on An Ghaeltacht on Saturday week in the AIB Munster Club IFC decider. That contest will take place in Mick Neville Park in Rathkeale with a start time of 4pm.

It has also been announced that Mallow will be the venue for the AIB Munster Club JFC final between Buttevant and Ballymacelligott. That one will start at 1pm on Saturday week.

Finally, Cork minor football manager Keith Ricken has added Vincent Cronin of Bride Rovers to his management ticket ahead of the 2026 campaign.

Ricken, a St Vincent's clubman, is going into his second season as boss as the Rebels look to build on a competitive year in 2025.

They lost to Kerry in the Munster final before losing bravely to Tyrone in the All-Ireland quarter-final.

The other selectors are Argideen Rangers' Paul Holland, Clive Cremin of Carrigtwohill and John McNulty from Uibh Laoire.
