All McCarthy Insurance Group County Football League fixtures scheduled for this Sunday have been moved due to Cork’s participation in the Allianz Division 2 Football League final.
John Cleary’s side face Meath in Croke Park with throw-in at 1.45pm. The decision, confirmed by county board officials on Monday morning, ensures full support for the senior team as they chase national silverware at GAA HQ.
The Rebels sealed promotion back to Division 1 on Sunday afternoon after a 0-22 to 0-19 win over Tyrone at O’Neills Healy Park. Cork will be back in the top-tier in 2027 for the first time since 2016.

The county board has confirmed that postponed league matches can be played earlier in the weekend or can be refixed for a date on or before April 29th, as outlined in the regulations.
For now, all attention turns to Croke Park, where Cork will hope to cap their league campaign with a memorable victory and major silverware.
