Aaron Hill is through to the last 16 of the German Open
Cork's Aaron Hill will face Tom Ford in the third round at the Machineseeker German Masters after routing Jimmy Robertson 5-1 in Berlin on Wednesday night.
Hill raced into a 2-0 lead, recording a break of 74 in the second frame, before Robertson got on the board in the third stanza.
However, Hill delivered an emphatic reply with a knock of 89 and closed out the sixth frame to progress to a meeting with the world number 19, who accounted for Daniel Wells on a 5-2 scoreline.
